Cookie Policy
Version 1.1 — effective from 1 January 2025
Your choice
Manage cookie preferences
You have not made a choice yet. Optional cookies stay off until you do.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work: signing in, security, and remembering this very cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
Functional
Remember preferences such as display options to make your visits more comfortable. We currently set no optional functional cookies; your choice applies as soon as any are introduced.
Analytics
Help us understand how the site is used (Vercel Web Analytics, without cookies) so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and never used to identify you.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as browser storage) are covered by this policy too. The Friendly Fairway uses them to keep you signed in, remember your choices, and — only with your consent — to understand how the site is used.
2. The cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps you signed in on this device (Supabase session token). | Until sign-out | Necessary |
| tff-cookie-consent | The Friendly Fairway | Remembers the cookie choice you make on this page or on the banner. | 12 months | Necessary |
| Vercel Web Analytics (no cookies) | Vercel | Counts page views anonymously, without cookies or identifiers. Loaded only after you consent to analytics. | No cookie stored | Analytics |
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we never sell your data.
3. Your consent
Optional cookies are set only after you opt in via the banner or this page. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time here, or from Settings → Cookie preferences when signed in. Withdrawing consent removes the related cookies from your browser; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. We ask again every 12 months, or sooner if this policy changes.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site (such as signing in) from working.
